Class 09: How will we include inquiry in our plans?

Learning Goals:

• Describe what is meant by "classroom inquiry."
• Create a 3-5 sentence description of a inquiry-rich lesson sequence.

Due before class:

• Read either chapter 10, 11, 12, 13, or 14 in Gallagher. Be prepared to describe the inquiry experiences included in these units, and give reasons why you consider them to be "classroom inquiry."

• Work in groups to refine our views about classroom inquiry.
• Looking Back - 2 types of jigsaws and a wiki-trick.
• Be prepared to share your ideas for an inquiry activity in your unit.
